Broadway Bound Performing Arts 2018 season includes the Broadway Musical review entitled “Lights Up” that will be presented at L’Uni Theatre, Edmonton, Friday 6 & Saturday 7 July (3 shows confirmed), with cue to cue to take place on Thursday 5 July.
Segments of various Broadway Musicals include, Hello Dolly, A Chorus Line, Mary Poppins, Annie Get Your Gun, Les Miserables, The Pajama Game, Hamilton and others.
We are looking for performers to join our cast – teen and adult Male Singers – teen and adult Female and Male Dancers (both soloists and ensemble members) and a young male vocalist (8-10 yrs of age) to play the part of Michael in Mary Poppins segment and to join our cast. Selected cast members will be asked to pay a production fee of $150 to cover such costs as venue rental fees, costume fabrics, and microphone rentals.
Final auditions will be held up to and including 29 April. Deadline to apply 28 April. To book your audition date/time contact doreen.broadwaybound2017@shaw.ca. Provide a resume/bio and headshot if possible (does not have to be a professional photo). Rehearsals are held at the Ruth Carse Centre, 11205 107 Avenue (downtown Edmonton – free parking ) Fridays 6-9 pm and Sundays 1 – 5 pm. Not all cast members are required to attend all rehearsals.
