A moving and eye opening play about four young women fighting for their right to receive an education during the era of women’s suffrage. As they battle against prejudice and gender inequality, these young women deal with a lack of bathroom facilities, their baffled and rude male counterparts, and even burning effigies. Set in Victorian England, against the backdrop of Cambridge’s Girton College, will these “blue stockings” be allowed to graduate?
