Workshop (Edmonton): Intro To Clown: 6-in-1 Mask with Morgan Nadeau

 

During this workshop you will be led through the 6-in-1 mask in order to find your inner clown. We will do basic exercises and work on a basic clown turn. Using the 6-in-1 Mask creation process created my Ian Wallace, Morgan will lead you through exercises and games to help guide you to your inner clown. There will be a small showcase for family and friends on the last day to share what you’ve learned.

A trained Pochinko Clown in both practice, and as an instructor, Morgan clowns and roves at events and festivals and has been a part of the International Street Performer Festival, The St. Albert International Children’s Festival and the International Edmonton Fringe Theatre Festival to name a few.

In the Summer of 2016, Morgan trained with Ian Wallace, the creator of the 6-in-1 mask workshop, and Jan Henderson to learn the skills to become a clown instructor.

Morgan has been involved in the Edmonton Theatre community since 2007 and has been clowning since 2012. She was a co-creator and founder of Fool Spectrum Theatre and the first Artistic Director and co-founder of the Edmonton Clown Festival (now Play the Fool).
