Building off of examples from successful scripted musicals, you will have the opportunity to learn what it is that hooks a viewers brain immediately, keeps them engaged throughout, and pick up a few useful tools along the way. Sing your heart out with workshop facilitator Vincent Forcier, as he leads you through singing drills and choreography tricks, after all, musicals aren’t just about singing, they’re about dancing too! So come prepared to move! By the end of this workshop you will emerge with the tools necessary to confidently put together a variety of improvised songs to fill out a world of your own imagining, the story of which: is up to you!

About Vincent Forcier:
Vincent tries to be as many things as possible, all at once. Currently he is an actor / dancer / choreographer / improvisor / director / producer and dabbles in a few other roles here and there. He is the producer/director of Offbook: The Improvised Musical while also performing with the ensemble. He is also a core cast member of Die Nasty the Improvised Soap Opera, with which he performs and directs. Vincent has been nominated for a Sterling Award (Edmonton Theatre Award) twice for direction, and is the recipient of a Jessie Award (Vancouver Theatre Award) for best actor in a TYA. He considers himself trilingual as he is fluent in English, French, and Dance.
