Festival a hiring a Box Office Manager through Alberta’s Serving Communities Internship Program (SCIP), which are paid internships (a $1000.00 bursary) for students attending post-secondary institutions in Alberta for the 2017-2018 year. About the Role
The Box Office Manager will supervise the box office for the duration of the festival. This includes managing and training box office volunteers, tracking receipts and sales, handling cash and close-out, accommodating guest requests, and distributing tickets during the 20+ performances. This role also includes assisting in the updating and managing the IGNITE! section of the Sage Theatre website. The Box Office is busiest and most demanding aspect of front of house, and is critical for a successful festival experience.

The IGNITE! Festival of Emerging Artists is a festival dedicated to supporting, mentoring and presenting emerging artists of all disciplines. IGNITE! allows artists to embrace risks in a supportive environment while providing resources, a bridge to the professional arts community, and meaningful opportunities for collaboration and community building with their peers. In 2017 the IGNITE! Festival featured over 300 emerging artists and 8 different series serving artists of all disciplines.
