Strangers find common ground on a train bound to Charlottetown one snowy Christmas Eve in the early 1900s. They gather around Aunt Theodora with her overflowing basket, and stories of Christmas miracles past
Creators include Rosebud School of the Arts instructors Jeany Van Meltebeke and David Snider..
“A rich and colourful Christmas story told from a Canadian perspective encompassing hope and tragedy, loss, faith and renewal…. The play is a musical but its lyrical excursions strike a balance in the production and definitely augment rather than dominate the story. An L.M. Montgomery Christmas will appeal to a wide range of audiences from young to old. It’s a must-see for anyone looking for a fresh accounting of the meaning of Christmas.“
