Film Acting Classes Winter 2018

(Can accept visa/master card though Eventbrite or cash/cheque in person at the office)

Our past students have also gone on to do numerous national commercials, stunt doubling, stunt acting and past students are now full ACTRA, members of Stunt Guilds, members of the Director’s Guild of Canada, members of IATSE and CAEA Apprentices.

STEP INTO FILM

Cost: $450 plus GST
10 weeks every Monday or Wednesday
Monday Dates: January 15 – March 26 (No class on Family Day)
Wednesday Dates: January 17 – March 28 (No class on Feb.14)
Monday and Wednesday Times: 7 – 9PM
Place: 10526 Jasper Avenue NW, Edmonton AB
Ages: 8+, it is a mixture of age groups.
*All class work will be filmed and each student will get a DVD of their work at the end of the course.

The class will look at:

  • Method Acting
  • Breakdown character
  • Monologues
  • Commercials
  • Working with other actors

INTERMEDIATE CLASS

Cost: $500 plus GST
10 weeks every Thursday
Dates: January 18 – March 22
Time: 7 – 9PM
Place: 10526 Jasper Avenue NW, Edmonton AB
Age: Ages: 8+, it is a mixture of age groups.
*All class work will be filmed and each student will get a DVD of their work at the end of the course.
*BEGINNER ACTING CLASS REQUIRED*

Are you a novice actor who is looking to become more skilled in film acting then this is the course for you.

In the intermediate class, we will be focusing on:

  • Duologues (2-person scenes)
  • How power is shown on screen and the give and take of power between actors
  • Character building based on a real person
  • A basic overview and hands on experience on crew positions
  • A large group scene taken from iconic movies
