SUMMARY
A bitingly witty demonstration of how women can be each others best friends – and worst enemies, The Women explores the decisions women make and how they then live with the consequences.

AUDITION PROCESS
Auditions will be held in groups of up to 12, and consist of cold reads as well as group work. No monologue required. Each audition slot will run one (1) hour and auditioners need to be present for the entire hour.

If needed, callbacks will take place Saturday October 21st between 12-5 pm at Walterdale Theatre.

*Actors cast in these roles will also play one or more other characters in the Ensemble, as 17 actors will play 39 parts.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Rehearsals are expected to be held Monday, Thursday, and Sunday from 6-10pm. Actors will not be called for all rehearsals. Please bring information regarding any major conflicts to your audition.

Walterdale Theatre is committed to inclusive casting. We encourage all artists who self-identify as being from under-represented communities to audition. In addition, while the rights to The Women require all roles be played as female on stage, we welcome anyone interested and willing to portray a female character to audition, regardless of gender identify.

Walk in auditions will be accommodated as time permits.
