About Us:
Broadway Bound is an Edmonton-based registered Alberta Society providing performance opportunities to youth + adults of all ages.

Open Auditions:

Where: Ruth Carse Centre for Dance – 11205 107 Ave
When: October 1, 2017 beginning at 10:00am

Casting requirements: SINGERS please prepare a solo piece ideally from a Broadway musical and bring sheet music for accompanist. DANCERS please prepare a solo piece of any genre and bring recorded music to the audition.

Perfromance Schedule: 

  • Rehearsals – Fridays 6 – 9 pm and Sundays 1 – 5 pm
  • Dress/Tech Rehearsal – January 25, 2018
  • Matinee + Evening Performances –  January 26 and 27, 2018


  • West Side Story:  Maria & Friends Female teens to mid-20’s + Male teens to mid-30’s
  • The Wizard of Oz:  Male/Female Dancers 10 – 17 yrs.  Male/Female singers all ages
  • Oklahoma: Lead male(s): Farmhands & Families Male/Female Youth, Teens & Adults up to 70 yrs.
  • Annie:  Soloist Youth to early Teens + Orphans Youth to early Teens
  • Half a Sixpence: Male and Female Lead Singers late Teens + Adults, Ensemble Singers Teens + Adults
  • Me & My Girl: Lead Male late teens to mid-30’s + Pearly Kings & Queens Male/Female Teens to Adults ages 30 – 70 yrs.
  • Oliver: Lead Male Youth to early Teen + Pickpockets/Street Urchins Boys & Girls Youth & Teens + Pub Locals Male/Female Adults ages 30 – 70 yrs. + Nancy & Barmaids Female Older Teen to mid 30’s + Mr. Bumble Male 30 – 50 yrs.
  • Matilda: Female Lead Singer & Schoolkids Youth to early Teens
  • Easter Parade: Teens to mid-40’s Males & Females


Soloists and Ensemble cast members will be required for various roles within musicals, including a Dance Captain and Stage Manager.

There is a participation fee of $125 ($75 to be paid up front at the first rehearsal, and $50 to follow).
