The Myer Horowitz Theatre provides a space to educate, entertain, and bring the community together. As an essential resource to the University of Alberta, the Students’ Union (SU) plans to renovate the Myer Horowitz Theatre.

This intensive renovation will include upgrades to exterior and interior design, seating, acoustics, technical elements, dressing rooms, washrooms, and more. The result will be a fully modern, technically advanced, and welcoming theatre capable of hosting a variety of performance and entertainment events, including dance, live music, theatre, film, speaking engagements, and more.

An important step in the development process is engaging the local community in transparent discussion regarding the wants and needs of Edmonton-area artists and organizers.
