Something wicked this way comes! Olive, Pistachio and their best friend Smee are at it again in their newest adventure! Join these two lovable clowns on an epic journey to the dark and mysterious in this original re-telling of one of Shakespeare’s most revered works—Macbeth
After their award winning shows The Tighty Whities Present…Death: Best Production at the Chinook Regional One Act Festival and Best Production at the Alberta Provincial One Act Festival, and The Tighty Whities Present…Smee’s Secret: Best Production at the Calgary Regional One Act Festival, Best Production at the Alberta Provincial One Act Festival these intrepid clowns are taking on the big time: Shakespeare.
Founded in 2012, this Calgary based clown duo has performed in many cabarets and festivals for companies such as Urban Curvz, Theatre Transit, Theatre BSMT, and the University of Lethbridge. The Tighty Whities are made up of four members: Emma Sinclair playing the sarcastic and proud Olive, Kelly Malcolm playing the adorable but naïve Pistachio, Kathryn Smith as director and designer, and The Tighty Whities would not be complete without their fourth and most important member: Smee the cardboard box.
The Tighty Whities Present…Macbeth is bound to be a fun, silly, wicked, exciting night at the theatre. Suitable for ages 10 and up, you will not see a more thrilling retelling of Shakespeare’s classic play, Macbeth.
