The Writers’ Guild of Alberta has an urgent need for volunteers for our casino August 13 – 14, 2017 at the Palace Casino (West Edmonton Mall) in Edmonton. We are currently scheduling volunteers in seven hour shifts this year, as opposed to the nine hour shifts of our last casino, but shorter shifts means we need more volunteers! Our casino is vital to the Writers’ Guild of Alberta’s programs and services, since it will provide us with approximately $80,000 over two years.

All volunteers will get a free meal, coffee, tea, and snacks from the casino, and we will reimburse transportation if needed. Out-of-town volunteers are also welcome and will have accommodations at the Fantasyland Hotel covered.
