Family Arts Camp: Rosebud School of the Arts

Rosebud Family Arts Camp
August 4 – 6, 2017

Make your August long weekend a creative one with our first ever Rosebud Family Arts Camp! This is your chance to spend a few days in Rosebud as a family and experience all that Rosebud has to offer beyond the stage!

Spend some quiet time with your family in the beautiful Rosebud valley and explore the gift shops, galleries, golf course, ball diamond, campgrounds and B&Bs that make Rosebud a perfect get-away!

You’ll also have opportunities to enjoy Rosebud Theatre’s Spitfire Grill & An Almost Holy Picture with your family or a date night for Mom and Dad. You’ll enjoy chamber music concerts by world-renowned musicians, and join other families for food and fellowship. Enjoy Rosebud’s hospitality and grow closer together as a family this August Long Weekend. You wont’ regret this time together.

If you wish to enjoy a more leisurely arrival in Rosebud, we invite you to book your B&B or campground on Thursday Aug. 3rd. There are no scheduled Family Camp activities, but there are a number of exciting things you can do that evening, such as attending shows or a concert or exploring the area of Drumheller. Whatever you choose, you are welcome to spend the evening in Rosebud!

Where:

Rosebud Family Arts Camp is hosted in the beautiful Rosebud valley. Rosebud School of the Arts was established in 1976 and continues to be an artistic pilgrimage for artists and audiences. Rosebud School of the Arts offers transformative experiences through rigorous training in the performing arts and apprenticeship opportunities with Rosebud Theatre.

Workshops for the Family Arts Camp will take place in the Education Centre in the Haskayne-Kenney Mercantile. We also believe that artistic inspiration comes to us in many ways, so the Rosebud river valley, Opera House stage, BMO studio stage, and even the campground will all serve as classrooms for your artistic growth.
