Strap in and hold on tight, Northern Light Theatre’s legendary foot race, scavenger hunt, and fundraiser benefiting the entire Edmonton not-for-profit community returns for an unbelievable fourth year. THE BATTLE FOR THE LIMELIGHT is the biggest and most-anticipated event of the theatre season where over twenty-five theatre companies and not-for-profit arts organizations meet to compete for YEG glory and year-long bragging rights.
Founded in 2014 by Northern Light Theatre, THE BATTLE FOR THE LIMELIGHT was conceived as a fundraiser which could benefit the entire theatre community. Registered teams collect pledges and donations for their charity of choice – everything they raise they keep! Participants then race to Edmonton landmarks, find clues, complete challenges, solve puzzles, and battle it out in friendly competition, while kicking off the Edmonton theatre season in this fun-spirited event.
