Casting for “The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes” adapted by Albert Koett
When: July 16, 2017 from 12pm to 4pm & July 17 from 6pm to 9pm.
Where: CAT Studios, 4214 58th Street, Red Deer.
Ideally, actors cast in recurring roles like Holmes and Watson, will remain in those roles for all three shows throughout the year and beyond. This will be a great opportunity for those who are new to the stage, or have always wanted to get on stage as there will be a large number of parts available in all shows. Auditions will consist of 15 minutes sessions of cold reading and interview. Actors can book their audition times by emailing the director at albertus.koett@gmail.com.
The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes is a brand new series to Central Alberta Theatre‘s season. The series will be presented in three linked installments during the 2017/18 season. Performances in September, February and June will follow the many adventures of Sherlock Holmes and his partner Dr. John Watson. The plays will be adapted for stage, by Albertus Koett, from the original works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The first play, which will be presented in September, will be adapted from the novel A Study in Scarlet.
