Hiring returning student for approx. 2-month contract
StoryBook Theatre is looking to hire a Technical Assistant for our Summer Theatre School Programming. The Technical Assistant would be responsible for programming lights, projections, and running sound for our Theatre School performances throughout the summer, as well as assisting with our Student Summer Intensive Program. Other duties include importing rehearsal tracks, setting up Qlab for rehearsal purposes, and maintaining equipment.
Contract Length: June 26 to August 25, 2017.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Self motivated
- Able to work alone as well as part of a team
- Dependable
- Proficient with Adobe Illustrator
- Working knowledge of:
- ETC ion
- Qlab
- Basic Theatre Tech experience
- Interest in Lighting Design
- Above the age of 18
- Must be returning to a post-secondary institution for Fall of 2017
Compensation will be $14.00/hour.
