Event (Edmonton): “Canada: A Living History” w/ Lillian Osborne High School – Centre for Race and Culture

Canada: A Living HistoryA live installation exploring Canada’s race relations stories

When: May 18, 2017; 6:00  -8:00PM
Where: Prince of Wales Armouries Heritage Centre

This year, as we commemorate Canada’s 150th year since confederation, we have been reflecting on what this all means alongside community members. Through this event, we will be able to share in the reflections of local high school students from Lillian Osborne High School who have been building this installation since October of this school year. All of the highlighted events were selected by the students based on what they want the public to know and learn from.

The event is FREE and open to the public. It is also wheelchair accessible.
