Applications Now Open for the 2017 – 2018 Citadel Young Companies!

The Citadel Theatre Young Companies is an advanced training and mentorship program for aspiring artists between the ages of 16-21 who are serious about pursuing post-secondary education and a career in theatre.

There are four Companies offering specialized training in:

Acting
Musical Theatre
Playwriting
Theatre Production

The faculty of Young Companies is made up of outstanding theatre and live performance professionals. In addition to core training, members of the Young Companies have the opportunity to participate in specialized workshops with a variety of leading theatre professionals, resident and guest artists and members of the Citadel/Banff Centre Professional Theatre Program. Their training culminates in performances for the acting and musical companies, and staged readings for the young playwrights. The young technical theatre production company works on both of these events.

Partial Scholarships are available towards Young Company Tuition.

Audition Dates: July 22 & 23, 2017.
