Seeking Director to create theatrical magic for December 2017 show!
Sherard Theatre is looking for a creative, talented and experienced director who is interested in creating theatrical magic for Sherard!
Sherard produces one show per year. We anticipate this year’s production will be held the first week of December. Preferred production dates would be Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with an anticipated five to seven performances total.
Deadline to submit: June 1, 4:30 pm.
Proposal Package:
- Your theatre directing resume (please include references),
- A cover letter (opportunity to sell your skills and your selection),
- A copy of the script or detailed synopsis – script preferred,
- An estimated budget,
- A list of personnel needed (including casting breakdown, backstage crew, proposed musical director if doing a musical, etc.).
Sherard Theatre’s board of directors will read the submissions, interview applicants and select the show for our 2017 season. Submissions will not be returned. Sherard anticipates making its selection by the end of June. If you have any questions or comments, please email us.
