ADT to focus on roots, unique and creative dance experience, for 37th year!
Alberta Dance Theatre (ADT) is celebrating 37 years of making creative dance in Calgary. We are a contemporary creative dance company made up of 50 dancers aged 7-17, Calgary’s finest choreographers, and a mandate that celebrates the imaginations of young people.
ADT is unique through its rich tradition of collaborative dance creation between youth dancers and professional choreographers. Dancers perform in a professional production where the choreography is performed with original music, lighting design, sets, props and costumes, all created specifically for the show!
In our 37th year, ADT is focusing on our roots, harnessing the power of the dancers’ boundless imaginations and creative spirits. We are accepting dancers aged 7 – 17 for a truly unique and creative dance experience.
Audition Information:
Date: Sunday, May 7, 2017.
Location: Decidedly Jazz Danceworks, 111 12 Ave SE, Calgary.
Deadline to submit: May 5, 2017.
Audition Times:
- 10:00am to 11:00am (7-10 year olds)
- 11:15am to 12:15pm (11-13 year olds)
- 12:30pm to 1:30pm (14-17 year olds)
Alternate date: Sunday, May 28, 2017.
This is for dancers who are unable to audition on May 7. Please notify ADT if you are unable to audition May 7, and are requesting the alternative date.
