AUDITIONS: Emerging Artists in Grades 8 – 12 – Dirty Laundry: The Young Company

Dirty Laundry, Young Company Auditions

Auditioning performers ages 13 – 18 for Dirty Laundry: The Young Company

When: Sunday, June 4, 2017.
Deadline to submit: Friday, May 26, 2017.

We’re looking for performers between the ages of 13-18 to be a part of DIRTY LAUNDRY: THE YOUNG COMPANY (Previously called The Next Generation).

Dirty Laundry is Calgary’s only completely live, completely improvised soap opera and The Young Company is just that, our younger company. The cast members of The Young Company attend a mandatory workshop on the Sundays of their show for 90 minutes and then have a performance at Lunchbox Theatre. Roughly two shows a month – AND THEY GET PAID! It’s part professional performance experience and part training program.

So, if you’re in Grade 8 – Grade 12 and want to be a part of our next season, STRANGER SOAPS (a parody of Stranger Things and all things alien-y and 80s) then send your headshot/resume to carly@dirtylaundrycalgary.com before May 26, 2017.
