Musicalmania! is looking to fill the role of Klondike Kate Ryan, Canada’s first female member (Special Constable) of the North West Mounted Police, for this summer’s Edmonton Fringe run of the award-winning Days of the Klondike.
As this is an historical production, the selected performer, of course, will strongly resemble the person they are portraying. Taller (5’8-6′), robust, Caucasian. Looks to be early or mid 20’s. Featured role. Must be a strong singer/actor with some dance experience.
Group rehearsals: Sunday afternoons & Thursday evenings beginning the first week in July.
The person selected will be given a script and video to practice with and will work privately with the Musical Director at mutually convenient times so as to be prepared before group rehearsals start.
This is a volunteer position, with the possibility of an honorarium depending on Fringe profits.
Deadline to submit: April 15, 2017.
