Filmmakers have 48 hours to write, shoot and edit their film.

Freedom Tech Production invites filmmakers of all ages from across Alberta to participate. This is an online competition, except for the official screening, which will take place at the Garneau Theatre on April 9, 2017. All films will be available for viewing online.

Deadline to register: Friday, March 31, 6pm. Team topics will be posted to the site at 7pm, March 31.

Teams will have from Friday March 31, 7pm to Sunday April 2, 7pm to produce and submit their film.

Cost: $50/Team

Prizes:

• 1st Place: $50 Visa gift card*, AMPIA (Alberta Media Production Industries Association) event card (free access to 6 events/workshops or industry parties, excludes the rosies), and a free PA rental from Atlyn Production.
• ​2nd Place: $50 gift card*, AMPIA (Alberta Media Production Industries Association) event card (free access to 6 events/workshops or industry parties, excludes the rosies).
• ​3rd Place: $50 gift card*, A voucher to enroll for free for a Freedom Tech Production class (Acting or Production).
  * amount may increase due to amount of people signed up.

If winners are not able to make the screening, prizes will be mailed.

Proceeds are going to support the Early onset dementia Alberta Foundation.
