S.M.Arts heading to U of Calgary School of Creative & Performing Arts in June, 2017One of the mandates of S.M.Arts is to bring the Conference to communities outside of Toronto. We have been fortunate to visit Regina (1996), Edmonton (1997), Montreal, (2003, 2011), Winnipeg (2009) & Vancouver (1999, 2010). We have taken a couple of years off due to funding issues but we are excited to announce that S.M.Arts “On the Road” will be heading to Calgary. A huge thank to Andrew North for helping to organize this conference and to the University of Calgary School of Creative and Performing Arts for hosting.

Courses will include: Career Transitioning, Canadian Theatre Agreement, Stage Managing Dance, Giving Notes and Prompting, Production Management, Calling a Show & Prompt Scripts, Commercial Musicals, Scheduling & Planning, Job Interviews and Reading Music.
