CEO Gideon Arthurs Announces New Pathways to NTS

The National Theatre School is launching an ambitious four-year growth plan that will radically broaden the School’s impact on Canadian theatre and society. The School is developing a wide range of new programs to give more Canadians access to its expertise and facilities:

• Masterclasses for theatre professionals and residencies for aspiring Artistic Directors, Indigenous artists, and Scenographers;
• Programs for the general public, such as theatre intensives for teenagers and classes for adults;
• Programs designed for businesses, including storytelling, teambuilding and creativity.

New programming and pilot initiatives will roll out in Summer 2017 and be fully operational by NTS’ 60th anniversary in 2020. Program links:
