“Anthony & Cleopatra” & “Two Gentlemen of Verona” in rep for 7th Season!
BARD on BOWER returns for its 7th season of Shakespearean Frolic on the shores of beautiful Bower Ponds in Red Deer! Join our talented ensemble as we produce two plays in repertory:
Anthony & Cleopatra – Directed by Albertus Koett
Two Gentlemen of Verona – Directed by Eric Pettifor
Auditions: April 1st (in Red Deer, with Call Backs April 2nd)
Rehearsals begin: June 3, 2017 (evenings and weekends)
A&C opens: July 13, 2017 (8 performances)
Verona opens: July 20, 2017 (8 performances)
BARD closes: July 30, 2017
Cast size: 12 (actors are in both productions)

When: APRIL 1, 2017 (10:00 – 3:30pm)
Where: Red Deer College, Room 2305
- REVIEW the character lists available here and be prepared to speak about your preferences.
- Please prepare TWO (2) contrasting CLASSICAL pieces totaling no more than 4 minutes.
- Book a 15 minute audition / interview time, and a follow-up 30 minute cold-reading with a group
CALLBACKS:
April 2nd (10:00 – 2:00pm), Red Deer College Room 2305
Callbacks will be scheduled in groups of 4-6 for 60 minute time slots
Bard On Bower is an artist co-op/profit share, with travel subsidies available.
