Full-time position at rank of Instructor starting July 1, 2017

The Department of Drama at the University of Lethbridge invites applications for a full-time continuing appointment in Design and Production, at the rank of Instructor, starting July 1, 2017, subject to budgetary and Board approval.

Applicants must possess a terminal degree in Design for Theatre (Theatre/Drama), specializing in Scenic Design and Scenic Painting and one other area in design (Sound, Costumes, Lighting, Projections). Applicants
should also have professional theatre experiences in design and production. The successful candidate will teach courses in Scenic Design and other design or production courses in her or his area of expertise.

The candidate will also design for the Department’s productions. Teaching duties in other areas of the Drama Department may be assigned depending upon the candidate’s expertise. In addition, the successful candidate may have the opportunity to supervise graduate students.
