EDMONTON’S GREATEST OSCAR PARTY RETURNS!

OSCARNIGHT 2017 (fomerly Osctravaganza), a night of high fashion, great food and fabulous swag, will take place on Sunday, February 26 at BLVD Kitchen + Bar, 10765 Jasper Avenue.

Doors open at 5:30pm, Fashion awards at 6pm. Live show starts at 6:15pm. Broadcast commences at 6:30pm.

Tickets are $100.00 and can be ordered through Eventbrite, Tix on the Square or the Shadow Theatre box office (780 434-5564). OSCARNIGHT is a fundraiser for Shadow Theatre and the ACME Theatre Company.

“For over a decade we have brought the glamour and excitement of Hollywood to Edmonton as the hosts of the city’s most spectacular Oscar Night celebration,” said co-producer David Belke. “That glittering tradition of fun, fashion and filmic fantasy continues with OSCARNIGHT 2017, the stellar celebration where YOU get to play the star!”

Guests also get a full evening’s worth of entertainment courtesy of the event’s stellar comic hosts: HEY LADIES! (namely the Divine Davina Stewart, the Luminous Leona Brausen and the Cosmopolitan Cathleen Rootsaert) who will be chaperoning the night ably assisted by Naughty Noel Taylor. They will ably keep the fun front and centre even while the broadcast breaks for commercials! Prepare for entertainment overload!

The ticket includes a mouth watering three course meal prepared by the culinary wizards at BLVD KITCHEN + BAR! And if that wasn’t enough, guests will also enjoy complimentary cookies baked by CONFETTI SWEETS, the talented confection creators who have been selected by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for inclusion in their celebrity goodie bag! Experience the delight of celebrity approved treats!

In addition guests could return home bearing some serious swag from the glittering array of Hollywood quality goods available at the Silent Auction! Prepare to be dazzled!

Prizes for predicting Oscar winners include dinners for two at some of the city’s most popular local restaurants. Join the fun of predicting the winners in ten Oscar races. (Meryl Streep is always a safe bet).
