Alberta Artists: Short film, animation and video.

Gallery of Alberta Media Art (GAMA): GAMA is an exciting micro-cinema programming at Arts Commons in Calgary, Alberta. Through a peer assessment selection process, GAMA programs up to 24 Alberta media artists annually running three months in duration. The media art appears on three television monitors located throughout Arts Commons, This project reaches a diverse audience of all ages; content must be suitable for public spaces. Selected artists will be compensated by industry standards.

This project reaches a diverse audience of all ages; content must be suitable for public spaces. Each of the selected proposals will receive an artist fee.

Please include:

• Artist CV (maximum two pages).
• Artist Statement/description of the artwork (maximum 400 words).
• Artist biography (maximum 200 words).
• DVD of the proposed work: high resolution quicktime file, uncompressed (compressed for internet will not be accepted) no less than 720×480 pixels.
• Signed application form.
• Self-addressed stamped envelope (Arts Commons will dispose of any materials not selected that were not accompanied with a self-addressed stamped envelope).
