Workshop SignTheatrical community of Red Deer & surrounding area invited to attend Dialect Workshop

Instructor: Misha Albert
Date: January 21, 2017 from 9:30am to 4:30pm.
Location: Maple Room, 5000 Gaetz Avenue, downtown Red Deer

Red Deer Players is hosting a workshop for the following:

“By the end of the workshop, participants should have the tools they need to effectively adopt an accent in performance. They should know how to prepare their script so as to consistently deliver their lines an authentic accent. For the purposes of the Red Deer Players production of Calendar Girls, participants should receive coaching, tools and tips that are specific to the accent they need to use in their role in that particular production.”

The workshop will be structured such that half the day will be spent on learning how to acquire an accent in general, with the other half concentrating on acquiring an English/Yorkshire accent.

We will shortly be communicating a more detailed description of the course content, as well as the bio of the instructor. In the meantime, you are welcome to join us in what promises to be a very useful workshop.

The cost will be $10 per person, and all fees received will be used to offset the costs of the workshop.

Please contact Nigel Lane at reddeerplayers@gmail.com, or call 403-872-0012 (c), for more information.
