Announcement (Calgary & Edmonton): Two New Arts Mgmt Programs – Rozsa Foundation

Rozsa Foundation“Fundamentals Training” and “Executive Leadership” programs for Arts Administrators

The Rozsa Foundation encourages professional development at all stages of artist development or arts management. As such, we have added the following programs to our Calgary and Edmonton program schedule:

  • Rozsa Admin Fundamentals Training (RAFT): Offering fundamental skills in arts management, provides early career arts professionals an opportunity to learn more about what it means to work in a non-profit arts organization.
  • Rozsa Executive Arts Leadership (REAL):Provides arts leaders with an understanding of leadership vs. management, creating and negotiating a vision, building and engaging the team, and creating trust.

These new programs complement our current schedule of Rozsa Arts Management Program (RAMP) which provides professional development to mid-career arts professionals; and Next Step program which prepares and places recent gen Y business graduates on local arts Boards and Board committees.

Our programs are offered by educational institutes including University of Calgary (Haskayne School of Business) and University of Alberta (Alberta School of Business), as well as the provincial Board Development Program (BDP), Rozsa partners Transcend Management Advisors Inc, and leaders working in the arts/non-profit sectors.

For more information about these programs, including eligibility, application deadlines, and fees, please visit our website at www.rozsafoundation.org and see Programs. Queries may also be directed to our Arts Leadership Director Geraldine Ysselstein, at 403-245-6063 or geraldine@rozsafoundation.org.
