What’s On (Edmonton): “O! Christmas Tree” – Script Salon

Script SalonDecember’s SCRIPT SALON Features Conni Massing in a Holiday Mood

On Sunday, December 4th SCRIPT SALON decks the halls with an effervescent holiday confection created by one of the province’s favorite playwrights: Conni Massing’s O! CHRISTMAS TREE. It’s a yule themed comedy with shot of modern romance.

THE STORY:

  • A relentlessly cheerful Christmas booster and a cynical holiday-hater plan to get married but first they must reconcile their differences about the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future. AND, most importantly, about whether or not to decorate a tree.
  • Read by Amber Bissonnette and Garett Ross.

When: Sunday, December 4th at 7:30 pm.

Where: Upper Arts Space at Holy Trinity Anglican Church (10037 84 Avenue).

Admission is free although donations are accepted. Refreshments are available. Parking is free.

After the reading the audience is invited to ask questions and provide commentary directly back to the playwright.

SCRIPT SALON is sponsored and supported by the Playwrights Guild of Canada, Alberta Playwrights Network and Holy Trinity Anglican Church.
