Accidental Humour Co is an Edmonton based company that produces original multi-media theatre productions. Previous productions include Cowboy: A Cowboy Story, Happy Whackin’ Jim McCrackin, McCrackin 2: The Whacking, Release the McCrackin, Son of a Dwarf, and For the Love of a Zombie. Details about the process and schedule

The Co. is looking for actors with flexible schedules to cast in their next show! Due to the nature of mixing film and stage, the time commitment required from actors is substantial. Their new production will begin filming in January – April, rehearsal in late spring early summer, and then do the Edmonton Fringe (Aug 17-27, 2017) ,and following that a 1-3 week fall tour in Alberta ending in October.

Characters

  • 1 Woman – ages 20-30 – Young electrical engineer, kind-hearted, lacks confidence.
  • 1 Woman – ages 30-45 – Strong business Woman, ability to play multiple characters.
  • 1 Man – ages 35-50 – Former superhero, father figure, ability to play multiple characters.

Audition Details

  • Accidental Humour Co. is holding auditions for their new Superhero show on December 12 & 14, 2016.
  • Please note that movement and stage combat experience is an asset.
