Jobs (Calgary): FOH Volunteers for “Reefer Madness” – Front Row Centre Players

FRC recruiting experienced, committed volunteers to work Front of House for “Reefer Madness”

Please read this notice carefully as our requirements are different from typical.

Volunteers must attend an orientation on Preview, Thursday, January 5th at 7pm and commit to at least 4 subsequent performances in any combination of the following roles:

Bartender/Concession

Must be 18+ years old and hold valid ProServe certification from AGLC
Shift starts 50 minutes prior to the performance (6:40PM or 1:10PM)
Pre-show tasks: Sell Drinks/Snacks, take pre-orders
Intermission tasks: Sell Drinks/Snacks
Post-show tasks: Collect, wash, and put away barware

Ticket Scanner

Shift starts 30 minutes prior to the performance (7:00PM or 1:30PM)
Pre-show tasks: Greet patrons and scan tickets/rip stubs; prevent glass from entering theatre
Intermission tasks: Prevent glass from entering theatre
Post-show tasks: Collect garbage/recycleable programs

Usher

Must have mobility to climb stairs and perform physical tasks
Shift starts 30 minutes prior to the performance (7:00PM or 1:30PM)
Pre-show tasks: Show patrons to their seats, provide programs as requested
Intermission tasks: Help patrons fill out surveys/enter for draw for tickets
Post-show tasks: Mop or vacuum risers

Volunteers who are able to make this commitment will be entitled to 2 complimentary tickets to invite others (on applicable dates) as well as membership privileges.

Friday, January 6th @ 7:30PM
Saturday, January 7th @ 7:30PM
Sunday, January 8th @ 2:00PM
Tuesday, January 10th @ 7:30PM
Wednesday, January 11th @ 7:30PM
Thursday, January 12th @ 7:30PM
Friday, January 13th @ 7:30PM
Saturday, January 14th @ 2:00PM
Saturday, January 14th @ 7:30PM
Sunday, January 15th @ 2:00PM
Tuesday, January 17th @ 7:30PM
Wednesday, January 18th @ 7:30PM
Thursday, January 19th @ 7:30PM
Friday, January 20th @ 7:30PM
Saturday, January 21st @ 2:00PM
Saturday, January 21st @ 7:30PM
