Rehearsal Stage Manager Needed for “Anne of Green Gables”

Hillhurst United Church, 1227 Kensington Close NW, under the banner of “Whoever you are, Wherever you’re at,” continues our tradition of spring musical productions, now in our 11th year! Through these productions, we enlarge and build our community, while honouring and celebrating the gifts of God through the performing arts, and in so doing provide quality entertainment for our friends and neighbours.

The production team has identified the need for a rehearsal stage manager to record blocking and cues, and to take notes throughout rehearsal. Additional assistance back stage during tech week and the run of the show as the needs of the show dictate will also be appreciated. This volunteer position is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in or exposure to stage management.

Time commitment:

• Rehearsals are Sunday afternoons from 1-4pm from January 8th to May 7, 2017, as well as 3 Saturdays, 9am-4pm (April 22, 29, & May 6). The occasional Tuesday or Wednesday evening may be added in the weeks leading up to performance.
• Tech week will be the evenings of May 8-11.
• Performance dates are May 12-14.
