Canadian Actors' Equity AssociationAdvocacy Alert for Equity Members: Digital Content Consultations

The Minister of Canadian Heritage is holding public and stakeholder online consultations on the theme of “Canadian Content in a Digital World.”

The live performing arts need to be included in this conversation. Equity is urging members to provide feedback by letting the Minister know that the live performing arts matters to the Equity membership and to all Canadian citizens.

In order to reinforce some key points and provide ideas that may augment your submission, Equity has prepared a resource document.

The Ministry’s consultation webpage is found here.

Members will have until November 25, 2016 to provide feedback.

Answers provided will help the federal Government better define priorities relating to the live performance sector and the ways in which digital technology can support its reach.

If you would like to share your submissions with Equity, please email us at communications@caea.com.
