CITT-AlbertaFundamentals of System Design, Implementation, and Optimization Seminar

MacEwan University in Edmonton is hosting this course in November and Meyer wants to offer you a 50% discount!

The 2-day course will be offered at a cost of $100USD. That is a savings of 50% for CITT/ICTS Members and Theatre Alberta Members. Discount code required (see below).

Seminar: Fundamentals of System Design, Implementation, and Optimization with Mauricio Ramírez.
When: Tuesday, November 8 & Wednesday, November 9 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

About: This seminar encompasses a variety of topics in sound system applications. Practical information on system design and application is presented in a real-world context to provide useful background. Theory and practice of line arrays are discussed, along with the tools for system optimization, including equalization, delay, loudspeaker management systems, measurement with the SIM 3 audio analyzer, and use of Meyer Sound’s acoustical prediction program, MAPP XT. The seminar will also discuss and demonstrate important concepts pertaining to the use of subwoofers and methods of deployment that obtain optimal coverage and directivity characteristics.
