Volunteers needed for set-up, sale, and tear-down!
It’s once again time for Front Row Centre‘s annual costume sale and clean up. The sale itself runs 11-5, Saturday, October 8, but of course we have set up and tear down to do as well, and as always we’re going to need as much help as possible to pull this off!
Friday, October 7:
- 6:30pm to Midnight: 6 volunteers needed to load, unload, sort and setup for the sale.
Saturday October 8:
- 10am to 4pm: 4 volunteers required (1 hour prior to the sale opening to finish setting up, and this seasons costumers are being invited in at 10am to set aside anything they don’t want us to sell while we complete setup). These volunteers will also assist with the sale itself until 4pm (no costuming skills required, as you’ll be tidying, taking cash per price list, writing receipts, that sort of thing).
- 4pm to 10pm: 4 volunteers required to help with the sale as above until 5pm then doing the tear down afterwards (going through every costume we have left at the end of the sale and assessing whether it’s worth keeping it or not, and trying to get them organized on the racks as we go (shirts together, dresses together etc). It would be nice if we had at least one or two costume savvy volunteers for this shift but they don’t all need to be).
- 6pm to Midnight: 6 volunteers required to load what we’re keeping back on to the truck and unload it again at the warehouse.
If you are willing to volunteer for any of the above, please contact Jenn Lanciault, Volunteer Director at volunteer@frontrowcentre.ca or phone 403-246-8505 Ext. 107.
