Fire Exit Theatre Announces “SCRIPTS ON FIRE” – A New Play CompetitionFIRE EXIT THEATRE – OUR VISION: Fire Exit Theatre (FET) strives to produce excellent, innovative art that unlocks the soul of its audience and builds:
- A vibrant, meaningful community engaged in a dialogue about faith, and
- A satisfying creative experience for developed and developing artists.
FET exists to create conversations around faith; what you believe and don’t believe about God and death and life and all that happens in between. We believe that everyone is on a spiritual journey, whether they know it or not. We believe that life is hard and God is good and that choosing to live in that tension creates the best stories.
We want to hear your stories around this theme:
- We love comedy and drama and multi-media and family-friendly and not suitable for all audiences.
- We love to explore the final taboo in theatre -God.
- Get writing! We can’t wait to read your story.
First Prize: $750 and a Staged Reading Competition.
