David LeReaney's Accent Workshop5 hour course with lecture, notes, and practical workout

David LeReaney, dialect coach on FARGO season 2 and 3 is offering a seminar on the Minnesota regional dialect spoken in the TV series FARGO and modern, non-regional, informal American dialect spoken in most American productions.

The 5 hour course entails:

  • Lecture/demo on applying the FARGO dialect to modern, non-regional informal dialogue for American film and TV.
  • Comprehensive notes and a list of words, phrases and American and Minnesota speech sounds (audio files included).
  • Practical workout with sides from FARGO.

About: David has been acting, directing, coaching dialects and teaching for a living since 1979, appearing in or directing over 275 professional plays, and has a busy career in film and TV, appearing in more than 60 productions, most recently appearing in FARGO, BLACKSTONE, WYNONA EARP and MIRACLE ON CHRISTMAS LAKE. David is a coach and teacher of dialects and accents through his company, Dial/Act Inc., having taught at almost every college and university in Alberta. He has coached many films and TV productions and hundreds of actors including Eva Marie Saint, Brenda Fricker, Jacqueline Bisset, Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore, Liam Hemsworth, Aidan Quinn, Jessica Pare, Cynthia Nixon, Kerri Russel, Ted Danson, Kirsten Dunst, Patrick Wilson and the entire cast of FARGO season 2.
