Goodger-Pink Family Theatre will hold auditions for the 2016/17 season on Sunday, September 18 from 11am till 3pm.
Auditions will be held at the Alberta Dance Academy – #4 Crystalridge Drive, Okotoks.
Hansel and Gretel: A Holiday Panto by Dan Gibbins (world premiere):
Roles Available:
- Hansel: 20s-30s, female
- Father/Narrator/Crow: 20s-50s, male
- Witch: 20s-50s, male (played in drag)
Rehearsal dates:
Evenings and Weekend Rehearsals between October 28th and December 4th. Rehearsal schedule based on performers availability. Please provide rehearsal availability with audition application.
Tech Rehearsals:
December 6th and 7th from 5pm – 10 pm
Performance Dates:
- December 8th & 9th @ 7pm
- December 10th @ 11am
- December 11th @ 2pm
- December 15th & 16th @ 7pm
- December 17th @ 11 am & 2pm
- December 18th @ 2pm
- Possibility of run extension from December 19th -30th.
Princess Confidential: A Film Noir Fairytale by Ellen Chorley
Roles AVailable:
- Detective Reid Simon: 20s-30s, male
- Princess Abigail Goode: 20s-30s, female
*Both Performers are required to portray a variety of roles during the show. Experience in Mask/Puppetry/Clown and Dance would be considered assets*
Rehearsal dates:

March 1st and 2nd from 5pm – 10 pm

- March 12th @ 2pm
Those who submit will also be considered for our annual outdoor summer tour, running from June to August, 2017.
Please prepare one monologue (under 3 minutes) appropriate to the TYA genre. Upon receiving an audition slot, sides will also be provided.
2016 Emerge participants are welcome to submit for General Auditions.
