Info workshops in preparation for October 15 deadline
The Edmonton Arts Council will be hosting two Cultural Diversity in the Arts Project Grant workshops in two library branches to inform artists and community members about the grant application process for this program. The deadline for grant applications is October 15, 2016.
In addition to a short introduction to eligibility requirements, the session will feature a panel discussion with former grant recipients & jury members who will provide insight into how they approached their applications and their artistic projects. There will also be an opportunity for attendees to work with grant officials in small groups to discuss components of the application i.e. resume, budget, project description.
The following are encouraged to attend:
- Artists of any artistic discipline that identify themselves as members of culturally diverse communities.
- Agency contacts/community members who can use the information to inform artists in their communities about the CDA Project Grant opportunity.
