Create Space Puppet and Perform “Space Oddity”

We are thrilled to bring puppetry to this year’s Beakerhead! Combine puppet creation with low-tech mechanics and an outer space theme to make your very own ”jumping jack toy”. After warming up with – jumping jacks – you will create your signature space puppet and then perform Space Oddity as homage to Chris Hadfield and the late David Bowie.

When: Saturday, Sept 17, 1-3pm
Where: Fort Calgary, Education Centre, 750 – 9th Avenue SE

Tickets: $10/person or $35 for groups (4-6 people) / $5 per person with City of Calgary Fee Assistance Card. Register today!
($15 per person at the door if not sold out – no group rate)

Puppet Pop-Up Studio is a monthly puppet making and performing workshop on the third Saturday of each month at different locations in Calgary. We actively promote all family members, youngsters and elders, in creating art and drama together and accommodate all skills and ages, with a different theme each month.
