Evergreen TheatreGeneral Auditions for 2016-2017 Season

Evergreen Theatre will hold auditions for the 2016/17 season on Tuesday, September 6 and Wednesday, September 7.

Jurassic Bark by Meg Braem (world premiere):

  • 1 male / 1 female
  • Rehearsal dates: January 30 – February 17, 2017.
  • Touring dates: February 20 – June 9, 2017 (some dark weeks within this time period).

Please prepare one song (under 2 mins) that showcases your voice and range, and one monologue (under 2 mins) appropriate to the TYA genre.

All applicants must have a valid Alberta Driver’s License and a clean driver’s abstract. If hired, applicants must be willing to provide a police check. Artists are responsible for finding their own accommodations in Calgary. For all out-of-town tours and residencies, accommodations and meal per diems are provided. Evergreen Theatre pay rates are competitive with Equity standards.

2016 Emerge participants are welcome to submit for General Auditions.

If you have worked for Evergreen Theatre in the past, you are not required to audition. Instead, please submit a brief letter of interest.

Deadline for applications is August 31, 2016. Please be advised that audition slots are limited.
