Impromptu songs, dance breaks and show stopping numbers!
Edmonton’s Grindstone Theatre, presents The 11 O’clock Number: Life is a Musical at the 2016 Edmonton International Fringe Festival. As seen in New York, Orlando and across western Canada, this completely improvised musical comedy stars some of Edmonton’s best improvisers who make up a musical on the spot.
The 11 O’clock Number holds a weekly spot in Edmonton every Friday night from September to June and will be going into it’s 5th season starting this September. The show is completely improvised meaning that nothing is rehearsed or planned out. From a short interview with an audience member the cast creates a musical comedy based on the person’s life. Like any good musical the show weaves a story with impromptu songs, dance breaks and show stopping numbers.
The 11 O’clock Number is a part of the 2016 Edmonton International Fringe Festival and takes the stage between August 11th – 21st, 2016. The performance venue is The Cool Air Rentals Stage at Holy Trinity Anglican Church 10037 84 Ave: Venue #15. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased in advance on the Fringe website: www.fringetheatre.ca.
