The Kaleido Family Arts Festival is currently seeking volunteers for the run of their 11th Annual festival September 9-11, 2016. Volunteers have the opportunity to work in a variety of positions in an exciting, creative environment, receive fun festival swag and other perks!
Two volunteer information parties will be held throughout the summer. Join Arts on the Ave for a BBQ at the Parkdale Cromdale Community League, 11335 85 Street, on Sunday, July 25 at 6:30pm and Tuesday, August 9 at 6:30pm for a picnic behind the Alberta Avenue Community League, 9210 118 Avenue. Volunteer orientation will be held on Tuesday, September 6 from 6-10pm, also at the Alberta Ave Community League.
Produced by Arts on the Ave, Kaleido Family Arts Festival is a joyous, exuberant, radically open arts festival held on historic Alberta Avenue (118 Ave between 90-94 Street). For two and a half days every September, Alberta Avenue comes alive as an environment of creative exploration and performances on rooftops, sides of buildings, back alleys, parks, old spaces and new spaces. You have to see it to believe it!
