Casting Call for Male Actor, age range from 40 – 50 years.
Theatre Outré and Theatre BSMT are seeking a male actor to play the role of Private Nils Sekeruk in our North American Premiere co-production of The Curing Room by David Ian Lee, directed by Gail Hanrahan.
Rehearsals for the production will take place in Lethbridge and will begin mid-February 2017. Production dates are February 27 – March 11, 2017 in both Lethbridge and Calgary.
Deadline to submit: August 15, 2016.
Based on actual events, The Curing Room tells the story of seven Soviet soldiers locked naked in a monastery basement during the height of World War II and the lengths they go to in order to survive.
The character, Sekeruk, is described as being 40-50 years of age and we invite submissions from actors who are able to play within that age range. This role requires full frontal nudity.
Interested actors should forward a current CV and headshot to info@theatreoutre.ca by the deadline of August 15, 2016. We invite submissions from both CAEA and non-Equity performers.
