POSITION DESCRIPTION: Administrative Assistant

Quest Theatre is one of the leading Theatre for Young Audience companies in Canada. Our key programs include; National, International and Regional Professional Theatrical Production, Artists in School Residencies and our Annual Summer Camp. Quest owes its ongoing success since inception in 1985 to the daily contributions of the remarkable individuals who make up our team.

We are currently searching for an Excel Savvy Administrative Assistant to work at our office in SE Calgary. Successful candidates will have excellent customer service and must be outcome-oriented. The ability to work in a fast paced environment with strong attention to detail is essential. You will be fully engaged and busy from the first day and we guarantee there will never be a dull moment.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Ability to juggle multiple projects with superb accuracy.
  • Strong administrative skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, over the phone and in person.
  • Strong sense of urgency and problem solving skills.
  • Account reconciliation, payables/receivables and budget tracking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Administrative support to the Managing Director and other team members as required

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual English/French is preferred.
  • Must be extremely computer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Current Drivers License and clean driving record.
  • Post secondary education in related field encouraged.
  • High School or post secondary education in related field.
  • A passion for the performing arts is encouraged!

This is an entry level position with an immediate start date. Salary depends on skills and experience. Quest offers flexible health benefits, free staff parking, employee discount and casual dress.
