About Theatre Network: Theatre Network has a 41-year history of serving Edmonton theatregoers and offers a three-show Mainstage season focusing on the finest in contemporary world theatre. TN’s programming also includes original commissioned works by Alberta Playwrights, Nextfest – a multi-disciplinary festival of emerging professional artists, and the Roxy Performance Series which features a wide range of professional theatre and emerging theatre companies. Theatre Network has taken up temporary residence at the newly named Roxy on Gateway at 8529 Gateway Blvd. in Edmonton after TN’s previous home, The Roxy Theatre, was destroyed by fire.

About the Position: The Business Development Coordinator works alongside and reports to Theatre Network’s Artistic Director/Executive Director. Theatre Network has a strong team and is looking for the Business Development Coordinator to focus on:

• Fund development (sponsorship, fundraising and grants), event planning (like our annual spring-time fundraiser), and administration (including contract generation and management of budgets) with some facility management responsibilities (shared with the Operations Manager).
• The successful applicant will have management experience, excellent written and communications skills, knowledge of business operations, and will be comfortable working in a dynamic, relaxed and team-based atmosphere.

This is a position of potential growth as Theatre Network strives to rebuild where the Roxy Theatre once stood on 124 Street in Edmonton.

This is a permanent, full-time position. Salary will be based on experience. Position includes three weeks of paid vacation and extended health benefits. Variable hours including some weekends and evenings will be required. Theatre Network is an equal-opportunity employer.
