As a part of their Walk the Walk: National Festival of Asian Canadian Women initiative, fu-GEN Theatre Company just released The 49. Compiled by Yvette Nolan, Donna-Michelle St. Bernard, Jenna Rodgers, and Mel Hague, this is a list of “49 plays by Women of Colour that you can program tomorrow.”
The Theatre Alberta Library currently has fourteen out of the nineteen published plays on the list (plus many that aren’t on this list), and we are working to get the remaining five in our collection soon. Here are the ones you can find in our library right now.
